The first Court Users Committee in Mitrovica was held on 6th of November 2019.

Precise deadlines must be set for responding to citizens' requests;

A unique e-mail address for each court should be created where citizens can send their requests;

An "open day" at court should be organized to give citizens the opportunity learn more about the court’s work;

The use of new technologies should be increased in communication between the court and its users;

In accordance with the current legislation, an online platform/portal where citizens could get all the necessary information about the status of their case, through the case number should be created;

Electronic screens in the court lobby which display the schedule of court hearings and changes that may occur should be installed;

7

Awareness campaigns for citizens about the process of obtaining information from the court should be organized;

8

Working conditions in the court need improvement, (e.g. construction of a new court building);

9

The issue of incorrect postal addresses should be addressed, courts should contact the parties through modern means such as e-mail and telephone;

10

A Serbian language department should be established in Prishtina, and another Albanian language department in Mitrovica, to ensure that there are quality translators in the future.
